Weird and Wonderful SLJ

This is Activity 3 from Day 2 : Weird and Wonderful. I had to figure out how much a cactus had water in over a year. It gets fed 3 ml of water. So I multiplied 3 ml and 365. My answer was 1095 ml. I worked this out on a computer on a website "Sketchpad"

5 Ways to be Cybersmart

This is my work from Angela!. I made this last week but wasn't able to post it. For this I used Powtoon. It's an excellent site that you can create any slideshow movie type with. This is 5 ways to be Cybersmart. I used texts and images and different backgrounds.

SLG Playing it forward

If I traveled back in 1930's I would like to take a load of special treats!. 
I would like to give them at least 3 BIG baskets of treats because back in the days there wasn't really much candy in the days and I think they should deserve some treats especially when they have time to live and remember some treats. I would be really honored to give them power and money! Money to pay for the bills and power.  I would love to give them devices that are trending right now! I would give them    a guide on how to use it because I know devices now is really different from back then. I think a Camera would be awesome to bring for them to take perfect quality photos.  I would give them a album of awesome music that I think that they would like to listen to.  I would really like to bring a TV and some DVD's of new movies in 2018!. I am really sure that they will really love watching it.  I would give them chapter books to make them more smarter and give them interesting words that they probably didn't even know.

Sonshine Ranch Trip!

This is an explanation of what I enjoyed and did not really like at Sonshine Ranch. I did like EVERYTHING but I pointed some small things that I didn't really like. Overall I loved going to this trip!

Favourite Colors of RM 10 Students

 

 This is my work from Angela. We made a bar graph based on Favourite Colors of RM 10 Students. We made it on Google Sheets and filled in our data. We made a chart and customized it.

Learning to Reply to Blog Comments

This is my work from Angela. Room 10 were learning how to reply to comments that we received on our blog posts.  I first filled in boxed that says "Most Replies have", "Some replies have", "One or two replies have". The next slide it says " What replies MUST have" "What replies SHOULD have" "What replies COULD have". On the last slide there was two boxes and I typed down replies that I was going to reply to Fetuli and Mia. 

Learning to Write a Quality Blog Comment

 

This is my work from Angela. We had to learn about how to write quality blog comments on other blogs!. I first completed the sentences that reminds us what to do when we write a comment. I then chose 3 blogs to comment on. I enjoyed commenting on Estherbella's blog.

South Western France Storms

This is my work from Viv. We looked for World Wide disasters and chose one to do a report about, and post it. I added in facts, pictures and headings. I also added links to let other people read the news letter about it too.  I enjoyed making this slideshow.

My Digital Footprint Quiz

This is my work from Angela. We used Google Forms to make our quiz. It is based on Cybersmart and our Digital footprint. I made questions and added answers. Each answer you get points. I changed the heading and the background color.

This is my work from Angela. I created a storyboard about tell other people what to do when something bad happens online. I used 3 scenes and added characters and speech bubbles. This storyboard tells you to always tell a parent because they will know what to do!

Mind your Tone

  Hello!, This is my new work from Angela. We had to use a huge amount of slides for the objects to move and appear.  We had to also change our negative tone online to a positive tone. I used animations for some of the slides.  For the presentation to work just always press space.  Leave it when it has animations. But if it doesn't go on the next slide then press space. I enjoyed making this slideshow. 

Turning Negative to Positive!

This work was from Angela. We had to turn negative sayings to positive ones!. I made slides and made negative comments and then I turned them into positive comments. I used animations to make the objects appear.
