This is activity 3 from Day 4 Week two. I have guessed what was happening in this picture. I think I went overboard but I really like putting more detail into my work to make it stand out.
Thanks for completing another SLJ activity. I particularly enjoy this activity because it allows everyone to play around with their creative writing. Do you enjoy creative writing? Just from reading this blog entry, I can tell you're very good at it! I really enjoyed how you describe to us how the woman got to where she is in this image. You've taken careful consideration in explaining how she was struggling to capture the right image (I think a lot of people struggle with this, including myself!) The addition of a helicopter gave your story had a good twist, which keeps the readers interested. Also, when you described how the woman jumped and nearly slipped off the tower, you were able to surprise the audience which kept them on their toes.
This story is a great start to what could be a very interesting short story. If creative writing is something you're interested in, you could keep developing this story in your holiday break.
