SLJ: It's all in the name

This is activity two from Day 4 Week two. I have suggested 5 names and put a star for my favorite one.

Kia Ora Roseena!

Nice work completing another SLJ activity. Rotorua is a pretty cool place, have you ever travelled there? You're right, there are LOTS of fun activities to do there. This town is very popular for tourists especially the adrenalin seeking types. I agree with you when you said the Devil's Bath is a really creative name, and perfect for the attraction. However, you have given us some equally as creative names! My favourite is 'Wai-O springs' — A nice play on words!

Well done Roseena, I look forward to reading more of your blog entries.

About Me

Malo e lelei my name is Roseena and I am a year 8 attending Edmund Hillary School. I’m full Tongan and I’m in a family of 8. During my spare time, I like to read or watch Harry Potter, it’s my favourite movie and I love everything about it. My hobbies are playing fun games with friends, eating and watching Netflix.

Academically, I’m an determined hard working student with many goals to achieve by the end of this year. My favourite subject is Maths and in this subject I’ve reached to sufficient levels. I always go through difficult challenges but I always had help, either from my parents, my teacher and my peers. In Reading, I need to reach higher than I can and understand the meanings in a text. For Writing, I need to think of my audience, write things that maybe my age group could understand and relate to. I should think of the people that’s gonna mark my work , use appreciate words, suitable terms and make my story as interesting as possible! Finally, for this year I want to be able to receive the Maths award.

Socially, I am an good person who likes to spend time with others at school and online. I interact with others by joking around because I like laughing a lot and having a great time is something I always want to have. I give help when needed and influence others to do the right thing no matter who’s looking or who you’re doing it for. One of my greatest inspirations are Millie Bobby Brown. She’s an beautiful young girl with so much potential that she still hasn’t reached.
