Well done, on completing yet another SLJ related activity.
You have included LOTS of pros and cons about being a DOC ranger. Great job! I particularly enjoy point number 6 in the pros section that says, "You are helping them to survive in the wild". You're right! The DOC rangers help to protect the endangered species living on the island in order to keep them safe and protect them from predators.
I enjoy your long list of bad things about being a DOC ranger. You have added some interesting points. It would be interesting to hear from a real life DOC ranger about the good and bad aspects of working on the islands.
One thing you have missed, In the comments can you tell us whether you would like to be a DOC ranger or not, and why?
The two images you have included above look awesome on your blog entry! Remember it is important to attribute your images— that means that we have to give credit to this image. We can give credit to an image by giving it a correct name (for example: Image of Elephant) and saying where it came from (for example: Department of Conservation).
Well done, Roseena!
Keep up the great work. I look forward to reading more of your blog entries.
Kia ora Roseena! My name is AJ and I go to Christ The King school. I'm also participating in the summer learning journey. I really liked how you've included lots of information and how you have structured your work really well. I liked how you added images which gave your work colour, and how you included your own opinion of why you wouldn't want to become a DOC ranger. Keep up the great work!
