Well done on completing another SLJ activity. I really enjoy how you have used the red and green colour scheme for your letter to your mother. This could possibly be a Christmas card to her? Great job describing the growing seasons in the Tundra. Because it has such a cold climate, often the only plants that are able to grow there are suited to the climate. Unlike New Zealand where our growing seasons can be all year long, thanks to our great climate!
Wow! That must've been very scary finding someone in the ice with frostbite. That was very nice of you to give her your hot food and blanket. I'm sure your mother would be very proud of you for trying to help her. Do you know some other ways you can help someone who is suffering from something like Hyperthemia? You might've seen some ways that people can counteract the symptoms in movies?
