Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Bird of the Year!' and for telling us a lot about the kererū. I was a little bit confused because the picture that you've used on your first slide is actually an image of a tui. They're both pretty beautiful though! The most interesting fact—in my opinion—was the amount of native forest plants the kererū spreads seed over. Have you ever seen a kererū before? I saw 2 moreporks over a week ago— it was daytime and one was actually awake and staring at me, swivelling its head around trying to take a good look at me. It was hypnotic!
Looking forward to reading your next post :) Cheers,
Kia Ora Roseena!
