For this activity we were invited to join Nainoa for three weeks at sea. Being at sea we had to pack our own food, so we had to choose at least 10 food items we would pack to the sailing trip.

ReplyDeleteI am Tara, one of the Kootuitui blog commenters. You seem like a very good blogger, I'm excited to see what else is in store.
I like the foods you chose, especially marshmallows. Delicious! They would have to be my favorite out of the bunch. Do you have a favorite? I also quite like the decorating, the waves were a nice touch and the stars look lovely. Though a few of the foods you listed seem quite small (unless you were planning to bring several packets, containers etc.) and I'd like to know was there was a reason for that? Or did you decide that because you'd have lots of other food with you?
If I had to be at sea for three weeks, I would bring a few of the same foods and try not to eat too quickly. Canned food would be a smart idea because then it'd all be stored in cans, whereas sandwiches would be less protected. If you had to lose ONE item for your trip, what would you remove? If I were you I'd remove peanuts as they don't seem like they'd satiate my hunger as much as the other foods. But that's just my opinion. Can't wait to hear back from you!

Yes, I do have a favorite :) Its sandwiches because even with either 2, I could get full and I would have enough for the rest of my trip. I chose quite small food because on sea, I think its difficult to keep up with big feasts, for some reason it gives my stomach a weird feeling.
If I could remove one item, it also would be the peanuts :)
