Story of The Week

The Colour of Magic

A radiant sun rose above the surface of the Earth, with its entities warped in the golden lights of the sun.

The yellow dwarfs warmth melted the horizon with its heat.

It smouldered the mortals like an oven and you could see the bright glint

that beamed right into people's eyes.

Accompanied by the sun were ruffling clouds as white as snow.   Like the sky, her

surroundings were beautifully majestic!

The vibrant prickly grass fought with the wind, rocking back and forth.

Flowers dangled on little branches and their colours gracefully blended with the sun’s ombre.

Their bloom was admirable and the sweet ravishing smell graced the atmosphere.

Gardens were filled with the fragrance of flowers and the breeze tickled the soft petals.

Trees, a beauty whose spirit creates kisses with the

wind with their moving leaves, thousands of green hues and the soft whispering in the wind.

The brown oak towers casted immense shadows motioning with the wind.

Through the gale blow, were alluring butterflies who caught many eyes with their elegant colours.

It was like a rainbow had come into life and was split into sparkles.

They were flowers of the wind , dancing in whirls of colours, born to fly

and to bring beauty into the warming summer.

Their sleek muscles underneath their brown limber coats

and their long flowing mane that unfurls and whips as the wind makes contact with the hair.

As their hooves trot on the grassy field, their beige eyes whipped through the field

while their bold bodies assembled on the meadow.

The girl felt like all there was for her was pleasure and she didn’t mind.  A smile

plastered on her face while the feeling of joy overtook her mind, dancing with thoughts of euphoria.

Every emotion she had was fleeting, they elevated her spirit giving way to every new feeling that came by.

Luna embraced the atmosphere, she kissed the Earth like  it was her own world.

Her happiness was something no other could compare to, she wanted to stay on the field forever.

Whatever day, season, time, year, month and second it’ll be,  she’ll follow.

of the book.
Before we wrote the language features
We practiced a little about it before finding 3
